VO5

I was doing my typical research looking for a new conditioner than could double up as a co-wash and a conditioner. Using YouTube, Google, Blogs, ect.., i found quite a few people talking about the VO5 Strawberries and Cream moisture milk conditioner. I was sold once i watched a video from ulovemegz on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KwkQuezJAgI). About 4 days later, i was on my way home and decided to stop by a local grocery store to pick up some tortillas and chicken for our taco night. On my way out, I walked through the hair aisle. I saw the VO5 section at the very bottom and immediately stopped to check out the scents. I was SHOCKED at the PRICE! It was ONLY .89 cents! Without a second thought, I picked it and went to checkout. Regardless of whether or not it worked, I was only getting rid of .89 cents! The next day just so happen to be my (co)wash day. Unlike my typical wash days, this one only required my conditioner and a few mins for my Bantu Knots. As soon as I poured a generous amount onto my hands, the first thing I realized was it was very runny... I let that go considering it was a very VERY VERRRY cheap conditioner. But once it touched my hair. My oh my it.was.heaven.on.my.scalp. That's all i have to say. Honestly, try this.

I haven't tried the shampoo but this is the "full package"  -> -> -> ->

Update

Oh my has it been a while! I recently unbraided my hair after a sad 3 months two weeks ago. My hair is more natural than relaxed now. I have come to a decision of growing my relaxer out! A picture will be posted as soon as I do my wash day tomorrow. Stay tuned ;)

Basically...

I've started to see new growth since my last relaxed a month and a half ago! My natural hair type is 4a/4b. Towards the front, middle, and back, my hair is very curly. The sides are straight though so no growth has really been happening :/ Take a look at my hair styled. Also my new growth curlssss straight outta the shower :)
--- My hair looks shorter than usual cause some of it is tucked underneath my shirt.

Been a while

School, babysitting, and life.. I've been so busy i can't resume my hair journey till June 2013. Believe it or not hair takes so much work. I've till been watching videos, air drying, straighten once every 2 month blah blah blah. I got a trim cause my ends were looking not so healthy. Otherwise i got a relaxer about a month ago (6 1/2 months post) right along with a trim. My hair is much more manageable and i can definitely tell the difference between when i first started to this very day. This will be my life long journey but as of now, here's how it looks post trim.

P.s Make sure to compare to my very first picture under my "About Bevin" category
