Protective Hairstyle 1
Bantu Knots
Benefits:
Bantu knots are a great hairstyle for the winter! Unfortunately the cold weather comes with unhealthy hair. Besides braiding, twisting, and wigs/weaves, if your preferred choice is to wear your hair out, try experimenting w/ Bantu knots, braid/twist outs, straw sets, ect...,! It's a very simple cute way to create large voluminous curls :)
Necessities:
1) Leave-in conditioner
2) Gel (opt)
3) Hair lotion (opt)
4) Sealing oil (olive, grape seed, coconut, sesame, ect..., (opt)
Preparation:
1) Start w/ freshly washed hair
2) Lay our necessities
3) Part hair (side/middle)
4) Begin to section hair randomly. By doing this, your curls will be spread apart your whole entire head unlike sectioning it off in 1/4, then 1/8, your curls will look slightly forced. Your goal is to create natural looking curls.
5) Apply Leave-in conditioner
Process:
1) Take a section of your hair
2) Apply a tiny amount of hair lotion/gel (OPTIONAL)
3) Grab a milli pea size amount of gel and distribute it throughout sectioned hair
4) Begin to twist small section (2 parts)
5) After your twist is complete, grab the whole thing into one hand and begin to twist the entire thing into a mini cinnamon roll :) haha
6) Secure w/ a bobby pin and/or little rubber band
Lastly:
Continue process until entire hair looks like a pan on cinnamon rolls
Leave overnight for best results and undo w/ a sealing oil (on finger tips) to avoid fizziness
ENJOY!
PS - my hair (sorry for bad quality)

VO5
I was doing my typical research looking for a new conditioner than could double up as a co-wash and a conditioner. Using YouTube, Google, Blogs, ect.., i found quite a few people talking about the VO5 Strawberries and Cream moisture milk conditioner. I was sold once i watched a video from ulovemegz on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KwkQuezJAgI). About 4 days later, i was on my way home and decided to stop by a local grocery store to pick up some tortillas and chicken for our taco night. On my way out, I walked through the hair aisle. I saw the VO5 section at the very bottom and immediately stopped to check out the scents. I was SHOCKED at the PRICE! It was ONLY .89 cents! Without a second thought, I picked it and went to checkout. Regardless of whether or not it worked, I was only getting rid of .89 cents! The next day just so happen to be my (co)wash day. Unlike my typical wash days, this one only required my conditioner and a few mins for my Bantu Knots. As soon as I poured a generous amount onto my hands, the first thing I realized was it was very runny... I let that go considering it was a very VERY VERRRY cheap conditioner. But once it touched my hair. My oh my it.was.heaven.on.my.scalp. That's all i have to say. Honestly, try this.
I haven't tried the shampoo but this is the "full package" -> -> -> ->

Update
Oh my has it been a while! I recently unbraided my hair after a sad 3 months two weeks ago. My hair is more natural than relaxed now. I have come to a decision of growing my relaxer out! A picture will be posted as soon as I do my wash day tomorrow. Stay tuned ;)

Basically...
I've started to see new growth since my last relaxed a month and a half ago! My natural hair type is 4a/4b. Towards the front, middle, and back, my hair is very curly. The sides are straight though so no growth has really been happening :/ Take a look at my hair styled. Also my new growth curlssss straight outta the shower :)
--- My hair looks shorter than usual cause some of it is tucked underneath my shirt.
